Manufactured by Bush, this lovely Bakelite radio covers long and medium wave. This is the early radio, the original model, not to be confused with the later DAC90A. The cabinet is completely original with no chips or cracks and the radio works beautifully. The back panel has been repaired, as is usual with this model. This lovely radio has been fully restored in my workshop and, as serious collectors' know, there's no need for me to try to sell this radio by writing pages of blurb about it. Many early mains radios have a live chassis. That means that the metal work inside the radio may be LIVE (connected to the mains) and it can KILL YOU if you come into contact with it. Exposed screws or any other metal work on the outside of the cabinet or fascia of the radio must be checked for safety by a competent engineer.

DO NOT CONNECT EXTERNAL WIRING TO SOCKETS ON YOUR RADIO UNLESS THE RADIO HAS BEEN CHECKED AND CERTIFIED AS SAFE BY A QUALIFIED ENGINEER
