Manufactured by Murphy, this lovely radio covers long, medium and shortwave. With a large loudspeaker mounted behind a decent baffle board, this radio not only looks good but sounds great. This lovely radio has been fully restored in my workshop and, as serious collectors' know, there's no need for me to try selling it by writing pages of blurb about it. Many early mains radios have a live chassis. That means that the metal work inside the radio may be LIVE (connected to the mains) and it can KILL YOU if you come into contact with it. Exposed screws or any other metal work on the outside of the cabinet or fascia of the radio must be checked for safety by a competent engineer.
