There are times when I have a surplus of vintage radios and other equipment and I need to make space, so I'll be selling some here for repairs, spares, or as restoration projects. The radios will be complete, unless otherwise stated, sold as seen and not necessarily tested or working. All I do is take a look inside the radios to make sure that they are complete, as far as I can tell, and haven't suffered from fires or explosions. The items are to be collected from Worthing Sussex. This lovely old Philips radio works and is an ideal restoration project. The cabinet will need restoring but, as you can see from the photo, it is complete.

in gun-type cabinet
This beautiful radiogram doesn't work but shouldn't be too much of a problem to repair. In a magnificent gun cabinet with matching speakers, it's a lovely piece of furniture. The record deck is a Goldring GL101.

AUTO RECORD DECK
The record deck has a stereo cartridge and the 78/LP stylus looks and sounds OK. The deck works but is very dusty and will need a good clean up.
The mechanism will need a spot of Molyslip grease.

Speaker cloth stained but should clean.
Good dial glass and knobs.
Back panel in good condition.
Complete with all valves etc.
Covers long and medium wave plus VHF FM.

This radio covers medium and long wave
plus VHF FM.
Taken from a radiogram, this working radio uses an EL84 audio output valve. Good dial glass.
Ideal for restoration or spares.
