Fancy a JS8 keyboard to keyboard QSO on 160 metres? I’m trying to get people interested in JS8Call on top band. I have very heavy QRM on 160 metres, making SSB and AM contacts impossible. Sadly, because of the QRM and antenna problems, 160 metres is largely neglected. However, the QRM hardly affects JS8Call. My antenna is terrible. It’s 200 feet of end-fed zig-zag wire, somewhat short for top band, and it’s only about 20 feet high. However, I’m receiving plenty of FT8 stations from Europe and beyond so it should be reasonable.
I do my best to be QRV on 1842kHz at 1900 UTC every day. There will be days when I can’t make it but, hopefully, I’ll be there most days. Please, join me if you can.
Don’t worry if no one manages a contact. It’s worth trying.
