Kenwood TS570D HF transceiver. I have two of these excellent transceivers as well as an Icom IC-7300. You might think me greedy but I do like to monitor several frequencies at the same time. I use one Kenwood radio for monitoring our local 10 metre repeater GB3CQ. I also monitor the main 5MHz frequency 5398.5kHz. I do like separate radios rather than a so-called shack in a box. This radio has two aerial sockets which can be switched from the front panel. The two sockets are also programable when entering memory info. I have a 10 metre 5/8 vertical connected to one socket and an end-fed wire connected to the other socket.
