G4NSJ – R-107 reception set communications receiver

The R-107 communications receiver.

I’m now the proud owner of a classic communications receiver, the Reception Set R-107.

This is a fantastic piece of kit from World War II.

Frequency Coverage:

Band 1 – 17.5 to 7 Mc/s.

Band 2 – 7.25 to 2.9 Mc/s.

Band 3 – 3.0 to 1.2 Mc/s.

IF frequency 465kHz.

Valve line-up:

RF stage, ARP34 (EF39), mixer ARP34 (EF39), local oscillator AR21 (EBC33), two IF amplifiers ARP34 (EF39), audio amplifier AR21 (EBC33), BFO AR21 (EBC33) and audio output AR21 (EBC33), rectifier 6X5G
