G4NSJ – Test Equipment. Oscilloscope. Hameg HM-205-3.

I sold my old scope years ago, and I’ve regretted it ever since. It’s the sort of thing that sits on a shelf month in month out gathering dust. Then, the day comes when I need a scope! However, I’ve been given a Hameg HM-205-3 oscilloscope by Roy, a friend of mine. It’s a 20MHz storage scope which should come in useful in the radio room. Unfortunately, there’s a control knob missing. Anyone got one I could have? I wish I’d had a scope when I was restoring the RCA AR88D. It would have been most useful.

Just a few ICs inside! If the scope develops a fault, there’s no way I’ll be able to fix it!
